""When I first saw and met Julia Gay, it was in action at Raw Sugar's: The Funny. That was her first night, ever trying stand-up. Which I could not believe! Julia lit up the building with her charisma, and seemingly effortless jokes. A lot of comedians try to do race and politics jokes justice, but I have not seen anyone so cleverly deliver such heavy material with such grace. Let alone interweave that with personal and relatable bits."
